Winners Announced for the 2007 Rocket City Short Film Festival

The Alabama Filmmakers Co-op announces the winners of the Rocket City Short Film Festival!

The annual Rocket City Short Film Festival was Friday October 19, 2007. An enthusiastic crowd saw a total of 16 short films with 12 of them under competition. The winners in each of the two categories are:

Youth:

1st "A Likely Story" by Olivia Motley
2nd "Homeless in Huntsville" a documentary by Kristie Tingle
3rd "Operation T.R.O.Y. Takedown!" by Elizabeth Hagale

Adult:

1st "Ethnic Cleanser" by Curtis Barclay, Ian McAlister, et. al.
2nd "Toys for Sarah" by Luke Whaley
3rd "Doppelganger" by Daniel Lee

Thanks to all those who created and shared their short films with us. And a
special thanks to those who drove such long distances to join us for the 3rd
annual RCSFF. We start planning for next year's festival in January and hope
that many of you will soon start on your next indie production.
