Four consecutive Saturdays:
July 7, 14, 21, and 28 (9 am to 4pm)
Ages 10 to 14. Class size is limited.

The Film Co-op, in association with Workshop Director, Don Tingle, will once again host the 3rd annual "Movie Makers: A Filmmaking Workshop for Kids" on Saturdays in July (7, 14, 21, 28) from 9am to 4pm. The workshop is geared for Kids from 10 to 14 years old. The fee for participation is $100.

This intensive immersion style workshop will provide hands-on demonstrations of movie making techniques that kids can use to make their own movies or video projects. Movie making is a Team Sport that fosters leadership, responsibility, cooperation, organizational skills and an active imagination. Movie making offers a chance for all kids to compete in film festivals while also learning communications skills that will last a lifetime. Techniques learned in this workshop can also help students create video reports and documentaries for school projects. Using simple camera techniques and inexpensive, readily available materials, movie makers can achieve professional looking results on a kid’s budget.
